Welcome to Comprent. By accessing our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Comprent.
1. Nature of the Service
Comprent provides compliance administration software to assist UK private landlords in managing properties, generating documents, and tracking compliance under the Renters' Rights Act 2026 and related legislation.
2. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comprent shall not be liable for any loss of profits, regulatory fines, or legal fees incurred as a result of:
- Your failure to adhere to local, regional, or national property laws.
- Inaccuracies or omissions in documents generated by the platform.
- Failure to conduct necessary inspections (Gas Safety, EPC, EICR).
- Missed deadlines due to software downtime or ignored notifications.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of Comprent, you acknowledge that:
- You bear sole responsibility for the legal compliance of your property portfolio.
- Data accuracy relies entirely on what you input. Incorrect dates generate incorrect tasks.
- You are responsible for obtaining tenant consent before inputting their personal data.
4. Subscription and Billing
Comprent operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. As the landlord, you act as the Data Controller; Comprent acts as a Data Processor.
6. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email.
